PPR’s Race & Regulation Series: Chris Brummer
This event is part of the Penn Program on Regulation’s Race & Regulation series. Professor Chris Brummer, of Georgetown Law, is the speaker.

Chris Brummer is the Agnes N. Williams Research Professor and Faculty Director of the Institute of International Economic Law at Georgetown University Law Center. He will discuss his research on the absence of Black financial regulators.

Professor Brummer lectures widely on financial inclusion and equity, financial regulation, and global governance, and served a three-year term as a member of the National Adjudicatory Council of FINRA, an organization empowered by Congress to regulate the securities industry. He also served as a member of the Biden-Harris Transition team, on issues relating to financial technology, racial equity, and systemic risk.
